Gumroad new sales features

 


We've been promising this feature for a long time, and it's finally here. You can add one-click upsells and cross-sells to the Gumroad checkout experience. It's pretty slick:

Upsells refer to offers that upgrade an existing version of a product to a higher tier. Cross-sells refer to offers that add a new product to your cart. You can add an optional discount in both cases, as well as customize the text copy of the modal.

The upsell modal shows up after the customer clicks "Pay", so they have only one chance to make this change to their cart before completing check out. We believe this will lead to the highest conversion, but are open to feedback if you think otherwise. Regardless, we will be watching the data closely and report back on Twitter with stats on how successful this feature is.

You can add one-click upsells and cross-sells from the new Checkout tab on your Gumroad account.
